Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking into several strong leads regarding the school threats that have been circulating around the Yakima Valley recently. Law enforcement feels confident that they will be able to locate and prosecute those involved in these threats.
Safety is our top priority and we will continue to strive to have a safe learning environment for all students and staff. We encourage anyone who sees or hears anything that threatens the safety of the learning environment to report it immediately.
We want to thank the Granger Police Department for your support and presence in our district today.

Varias agencias de la ley están investigando varias fuertes pistas en tocante a las amenazas escolares que han estado circulando por el Valle de Yakima recientemente. Las agencias de la ley confían en que podrán localizar y enjuiciar a los implicados en estas amenazas.

Granger School District received an anonymous threat on the evening of Thursday, October 21, 2021 directed toward the high school. We take any threat of violence extremely seriously. School will proceed as usual today (10/22/21) and there will be police officers in every building. Your child's safety is of the utmost importance and the Granger School District is doing all possible to ensure your child's safety while at school. El Distrito Escolar de Granger recibió una amenaza anónima la noche de jueves, 21 de octubre dirigida hacia la escuela secundaria. Nos tomamos muy en serio cualquier amenaza de violencia. La escuela continuará como normal hoy (10/22/21) y habrá policías en cada edificio.
